Dr. Sharon Phamduong

Education & experience
Trained at UCLA and USC, practicing for 21+ years
Dr. Sharon earned her Bachelor of Science at UC Davis, graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2004, and completed a Hospital Dentistry residency before pursuing specialty training in Periodontics at USC, where she also earned a Master’s degree in Craniofacial Biology. Along the way she has published in peer-reviewed journals and served on several dental organization committees.
She began her career as an associate periodontist in the Bay Area, including several years at a Silicon Valley periodontics and implant practice, before joining this Torrance office in 2018. Today she leads the practice, continuing the standard of care that has made it respected across the South Bay for more than 35 years.
She looks forward to meeting you personally and continuing the trusted relationships that have always been at the heart of this office.

Dr. Sharon
She grew up in Northern California and now proudly calls the South Bay home, where her husband was raised. Together they are busy parents to two teenagers. Outside the office she enjoys traveling, wheel pottery, and jogging. She has volunteered her care through CDA Cares events and spent two years as a Girl Scout troop leader.
